The Objective of the
UniServ Program is to provide professional staff
assistance at the local level to the Association
leaders and members in support of their efforts to
achieve local, state, and national goals. The
Wasatch UniServ Council is the governing body of the
Wasatch UniServ Office. They direct the
Wasatch UniServ Director and decide on activities
and programs to be accomplished during the year.
"Wasatch UniServ is a
very cohesive UniServ made up of Salt Lake,
Murray, and Tooele teacher members. No one unit
can force a decision on another. We work
collaboratively to make all three units thrive.
Our UniServ values each member of the Council and
each has equity in voting. Most decisions are
accomplished by consensus—thus better buy in and
success."
